I learned this stitch when I was a child, my aunt taught me and told me that this was English Stitch, to me is simple brioche stitch and during a conversation with lovely Nancy Marchant this last march in Edinburgh Yarn festival, she confirmed that this was simple brioche and so simple that you can make it in two rows.
Im using my peruvian alpaca in colorway Yello Andino, is so squishy and soft that is perfect for a bulky sweater, bulky scarf or anything bulky and warm you want to knit this cold season, let´s start!
To make this little swatch cast on 32 sts.
