Cut a piece of felt fabric (pink color), approx. 1”(2.5cm) x 0.75”(2cm), fold this small rectangle in half and cut a heart form, place the small heart on white cotton and sew it with black thread and small stitches, as you see on the picture.
With black pen or pencil, write:
“Coffee Queen” and proceed with your embroidery, instructions on next page.

Embroidery:
Stem Stitch
We going to use Stem Stitch for our letter embroidery, this stitch is very easy, creates a thin line and can be used to outline embroidery shapes like letters, flowers, plants, and a variety of other applications

To work Stem stitch bring your needle up through the fabric where you want to start your embroidery (picture 1), *insert the needle one stitch length away from beginning point (picture 2), come back up in half between beginning and end of first stitch (picture 3), repeat from* (pictures 4, 5 and 6), following the form of the letters, this mean that you will have to follow a little curves to form the letters, do not be afraid to do it.

Place the tag on one side of cozy cup, fold edges inside and pin it (picture 1), with black embroidery thread work small diagonal stitches all around (picture 2)

Finishing: With small sewing stitches join the two ends corners, leave the opening as you see in the picture, introduce your cozy cup and enjoy your hot coffee or favorite hot drink!

    Lilia,
Thank you so much for sharing your talent. I really enjoyed making this cozy. I had to make some adjustments to fit my egg shaped cup but it looks great. I have pictures if you would like to see them, just email me. Have a very blessed day; and again I say thank you for sharing your talent.
