To make this knitting stitch you need multiple of 5 + 2

Swatch:
To make this swatch, CO 36 sts. This include 2 sts border each side, so you have 36 - 4 sts(borders) = 32 (this is multiple of 5 + 2)

Instructions

Cast on 36sts, you will work 2 sts border each side

Row 1 (RS): k2, *p2, k3, repeat from* to last 4sts, p2, k2

Row 2 (WS): k4, *p2, with left needle tip, pass 2^nd st of right needle over 1^st st, (keep 1^st st on right needle, keep 2^nd st on left needle), p2tog, k2, repeat from* to last 2sts, k2.

Row 3: k2, p2, *k1, yo, k1, p2, repeat from* to lasr 2sts, k2.

Row 4: k4, *k3, p2, repeat from* to last 2sts, k2

Repeat row 1 to 4
