Instructions

Knitting abbreviations:

k: knit | p: purl | sl: Slip | yo: yarn over | k2tog: knit two sts together | p2tog: purl two sts together

Note:

Remember to count your stitches to make sure that you have your initial number of stitches all the time.

On all even rows, work stitches are they appear, this means that for example if you have k1, on row 1, you have to p1 on row 2.

On all even rows, p1 on all yo of previous rows

Number of stitches:
To make this knitting stitch you need multiple of 20

Cast on 44sts (40sts plus 2 sts border each side)

Row 1 (RS): k2, *k1, *p3, k2, repeat from*, to 6sts, p3, k1, k2

Row 2 (WS): k2, work sts as they appear to 2sts, k2

Row 3: k2, *yo, k1, p2tog, p1, k1, repeat from* to 2sts, k2

Row 5: k2, *p1, yo, sl1, k1, pass the slip stitch over, k2tog, yo, repeat from* to 2sts, yo, k2

Row 7: k2, p2, *k2, p3, repeat from* to 5sts, k2, p1, k2

Row 9: k2, p2tog, k1, yo, k1, *p2tog, p1, k1, yo, k1, repeat from* to 3sts, k1, k2

Row 11: k2, *2ktog, yo, k1, yo, sl1, k1, pass the slip stitch over, repeat from* to 2sts, k2

Repeat row 1 to 12
